Corly Posner was one of the prisoners of The Lucky Buckle Mine. Corly Posner had been sent to a prison in Canon City, Colorado. Just before the Chimera invaded the state, Corly, along with the other prisoners were evacuated to The Lucky Buckle Mine, under the command of corrupt Warden Hiram Brewster. Warden Brewster took a fancy to Corly and forced her to become his sex slave, beating her from time to time, Corly eventually fell pregnant, as a result of the rapings she had been cruelly subjected to, and upon discovering this, Brewster savagely beat her and tried to discard her by sending her to do hard labour. Corly confided her pregnancy to fellow inmate Susan Farley, who angered by the knowledge of the Warden's brutality, murdered him after he tried to make Susan his sex slave, replacing Corly.
